I recorded this long before I took up the Greathouse moniker. That didn’t become an obvious necessity until 2004 when I started selling CDs online, and I discovered there was already two or three other “David Whites” selling music online.

This was recorded by “bouncing” back and forth between a cassette recorder and a reel to reel deck through a three input tape echo unit I had at the time. Each pass adding two tracks of input to the previously recorded tracks, adding gobs of that good old analog warmth (pronounced “noise”) with every pass. I was the proud owner of a Shure SM57 and a SM58 at the time, and that was my entire studio arsenal. I have made no attempt to clean this up. It is presented here in all its glorious analog splendor. I am just going to insert here that I believe it is entirely possible that the only thing that was truly better back in the “good old days” was that I was twenty something… I DO miss THAT!. .
