This sure doesn’t look like much, but it represents a quantum leap forward in my progress toward finally finishing up the artwok for the front & back covers for my newest CD called The Marionette: This & That from Hither & Yon. This pose will be the Front cover… the back will depict a less confident and energetic side of my little star puppet. The actual finished art will be a cut/torn paper relief sculpture piece. These black matboard cutouts will provide the spacing between layers of paper to help add depth and something of a 3D effect to these pieces. As usual, these first steps are the hardest for me… just overcoming inertia.
